MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a setting Memorial Day that encourages participation in
honoring members of the military who are currently serving America,
have served America, and have given their lives to protect America.
VISION STATEMENT
To promote patriotism by presenting a respectful, solemn, and memorable event that generates awareness of the costly price of freedom.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The Mercer Memorial Day 500 is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. As a community foundation its Board of Directors will fulfill the fiduciary responsibilities associated with grants and donations connected with the Mercer Memorial Day 500 Foundation. All gifts are tax deductible through this affiliation with the Community Foundation that will oversee all the disbursements of the program funding.
