Banners were raised on the dates above. Thanks to the volunteers and supports who came out to help.
There are 8 banners honoring individuals killed in action, along with four service banners.
The raising of the 500 flags will take place
on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 8:45 a.m.
Volunteers and pickup trucks/vans are needed to accomplish this task. Bring the kids for a great family activity.
Meet at the old Bissett garage on the square by 8:45.

9:00 - The Victory Belle's will sing
9:30- Honoree ceremony will begin
10:00ish - Victory Belle's perform again
10:30 - Ceremony at the Old Mercer Graveyard
11:00 - Parade begins
Ceremony to follow at Citizens' Cemetery
Performances from 9:00 a.m - 9:30 a.m and 10:00 a.m. to 10:30

2018 JOINT FUNDRAISER WITH WENDELL AUGUST FORGE
We are pleased to announce the first joint fundraiser with Wendell August Forge. Having a great community-based company is a wonderful asset. We will be selling Military/American items to help raise money for the Mercer Memorial Day 500. The sale began on March 20th. Any items ordered by May 20, 2018 can be picked up at the MMD 500 information tent on Memorial Day. Items ordered after that date can be picked up later in June. ORDERS MAY BE PLACED AT THE INFORMATION TENT ON MEMORIAL DAY. CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
